Invisible Woman Collective was born in Youngstown, Ohio—a city where nearly 35% of residents live in poverty, 60% of households with children are led by single parents, and 1 in 5 families lack access to a working vehicle. These aren’t just numbers—they’re daily barriers keeping women from opportunity, independence, and security. Our work begins here, where the need is urgent, and the community is ready for change. By addressing these local challenges, we’re building a model of impact that can scale—and proving that when a city supports its women, everyone moves forward.
